Hannah Schmidt is currently in her junior year of college and plays Division I volleyball at UMBC. She started all four years on her varsity volleyball team at Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville and helped her team win the IAAM “A” Conference Championship from 2008-2010. 
 
She was named Player of the Year by the Baltimore Sun and by the Varsity Sports Network in 2010 and was named to the Baltimore Sun All-Metro First Team in 2010 and the Second Team in 2009. 

She is an outside/right side hitter and has played for 9 years. Hannah is GM2 certified, Impact certified and coached her first club season last year as an assistant coach for MVA.
 
She is a biology major and emergency health services minor and is currently studying for her EMT-B certification in the spring of 2014. Hannah plans to go to graduate school to study to be a physician’s assistant.
