Chelsea has grown up with the sport of volleyball and has had success  playing varsity all four years in high school and helping take her collegiate team to the NCAA "Sweet 16" 3 years in a row..

Chelsea graduated with a degree in Exercise Science from Eastern University and now trains athletes of all ages and levels as a sports performance coach. Her coaching experience consists of 7 years of club, GM2 certification (5 years), Impact certification and currently trains over 50 tutoring students.

She now pursues her love of the game playing doubles volleyball as well as coaching volleyball players who want to make their goals reality.

COACHES

Jim has been around volleyball his entire life.  Starting right out of College Jim took time to learn the sport as a player and a coach.  He participated in many Gold Medal Squared trainings along with Impact and club certified clinics.

 

Jim started coaching club volleyball in the fall of 2005.  He also began coaching at Friends school starting Fall 2006 for 3 years.  He turned the program into a competitive program before he left in the 2008 season. He is currently in his 5th year of coaching at NDP (Notre Dame Preparatory school), located in the A Conference of the IAAM league and took the blazers to a 11-0 record and 2nd in the state this year.  

 

Jim Isphording strives to teach his players the fundamentals and values of volleyball.  He also looks to further each player's volleyball goals and team goals during each season and expects all goals to be accomplished.

Grace earned a full division 1 scholarship to Coppin State University as a setter. She has coached club volleyball for 7 years as well as 2 years of high school volleyball. She also tutors and trains athletes.

Grace is Impact certified, GM2 certified (5 years) and Cap I certified. Grace not only has a passion for the game of volleyball but a heart for each individual player.

As a coach her goal is to help each player succeed not only in volleyball but in every day life.

Coach Cary's  resume includes: 

3 Coach of the Year awards (2001, 2005, 2013), 4A State Championship '13, 14 years coaching Elite Club teams, 18 years coaching High School, 2 years coaching college, CAP I and II certification, and GM2 certification with participation in 16 clinics (7 as an instructor).


His passion is to train athletes to achieve their dreams while encouraging them to dream big.

JESSICA Starr

Hannah Schmidt is currently in her junior year of college and plays Division I volleyball at UMBC. She started all four years on her varsity volleyball team at Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville and helped her team win the IAAM “A” Conference Championship from 2008-2010. 


She was named Player of the Year by the Baltimore Sun and by the Varsity Sports Network in 2010 and was named to the Baltimore Sun All-Metro First Team in 2010 and the Second Team in 2009. 
She is an outside/right side hitter and has played for 9 years. Hannah is GM2 certified, Impact certified and coached her first club season last year as an assistant coach for MVA.

 
She is a biology major and emergency health services minor and is currently studying for her EMT-B certification in the spring of 2014. Hannah plans to go to graduate school to study to be a physician’s assistant

Jessica Starr graduated from Dulaney High School in June, 2013. At Dulaney, Jessica was a four year varsity starter. All four years she was awarded Most Valuable Player as well as the All-Baltimore County 1st team.

 

In October 2012, Jessica was Baltimore Sun’s Athlete of the Week and in November 2012, made the All Metro 1st team.  Currently Jessica is a libero/defense specialist at Wilmington University.  

 

She has been coaching middle school for the past four years and last club season was an assistant coach with MVA.

 

 

Morgan started playing volleyball at Dulaney High School in 2006 for the Lyons. After graduating Morgan went to East Stroudsburg University in the fall of 2009 for volleyball, but had to red shirt and come home due to injury, which led to coaching. Morgan went to The Community College of Baltimore County - Essex to earn my AA, and while there earned the following awards:

Now at Towson University Morgan is playing adult club volleyball through Mully's, and plays regularly at the Volleyball House. Morgan has been a club coach for the past four years with MVA as well as coaching the past two high school seasons with Notre Dame Prep. Morgan is Gold Medal Squared and Impact Certified.

Matthew began playing volleyball at the age of 15 at Mount Saint Joseph High School.  While at St. Joe, he was selected All-Conference in 2007 & 2008; winning the MIAA championship in 2007.  During high school, he played club ball at Maryland Volleyball Program (MVP).

 

Matthew was recruited by Juniata College where he played for 2 & 1/2 years.  Accolades during this time include a Molten DIII National Championship (2009), Participation in the Can/Am Invitational (2009), and a selection to the EIVA All-Academic team (2010).

 

Since graduating college, Matthew has coached with MVA, TCA, Time Out Volleyball Club, and Mount Saint Joseph.  He is currently enrolled in graduate school and plays club at UMBC.

While lifeguarding in Ocean City, Cary started playing Beach Volleyball at the age of 19 and became "hooked" on the sport. Years later he started coaching the homeschoolers of Maryland and in 2001, won a National Championship.
